Job Summary:
Maintains and monitors assigned restricted purpose funds for financial reporting and compliance. Reconciles grants accounting data entered in the general ledger. Ensures all program areas assigned specific grants are following required financial procedures for grant reporting. Prepare necessary journal entries and prepare required financial reporting on restricted grants and contracts. Interacts with internal and external customers.
Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community.

Required Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in accounting or related field or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience
Significant experience working in accounting, specifically financial data analysis and general ledger reconciliations
Significant experience working with Microsoft Excel and Word
Demonstrated experience with accounting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
Experience working with the grant process
Experience working in governmental fund accounting
